UNDER THE CARE OF GOOD MASTER
In the book of Exodus. 21: 2 – 6 Jehovah gave to the Israelite’s master a command that if he has a Hebrew as his slave. This Hebrew slave should work for his master six years, But in the seven year
this Hebrew slave will be set free without charge and if his master give him wife and she bears children, at his freedom he had a right to leave his master’s slavery but he cannot take his wife or children. Because the woman was belonged to his mater as his slave woman, at that time people have to buy slaves for themselves so it is master’s right to keep his man-slave or maid-slave
But why Jehovah God permitted people to make slaves their fellow people. Is it reasonable to make any one slave according to God Jehovah’s point of view. In the holy Bible its mentioned we
must work hard to provide ourselves and our family Otherwise we will face bad consequences
Proverbs. 6: 6 – 11, Also we can see some time people became slaves not because of their own fault as Joseph became slave because of his own brothers’ selfishness Genesis. 37: 5 – 36. During the imperfect system Jehovah God permitted the things happened in this world that He does not want to happened that people can know life is very hard on the earth without proper arrangement.
Also Jehovah God wants to make people realise that how bad slavery could be Exodus. 1: 4 either
people are slaves of their fellow-people or there are slave of sin. When Jehovah God rejected Hagar and her children for His covenant Genesis. 21: 9 -10. He wants to show that those people who are slaves of sin they are not acceptable for Him as Hagar and her son were disrespectful for Sarah. In
this way Hagar showed disrespectful behaviour for Jehovah’s arrangement.
In the book of Corinthians. 7: 13 – 16 its mentioned if a woman has unbelieving husband and he is agreeable to dwelling with her then they can stay togather as wife and husband and their relation-
ship will be sanctified. Because a good wife with her good example she could be helpful for her family and maybe her husband and children will accept true faith. Like wise a good and faithful husband could be helpful for his family to bring them in true faith since family relations are very close and dear to any one so Jehovah through this arrangement wants to save people who were
unbelievers.
Now through Jesus, Jehovah God arranged freedom from sin for all since after Jesus’ resurrection
Jehovah God is accepting faithful people from all the nations. Acts. 2: 1- 21.Either they are from Hagar’ children or from Sarah’s children in this way Jehovah God proved Himself as A God impartial.
In the Israelites when Jehovah permitted to the Israelite to keep slaves their own Hebrew brothers as slaves Just for six years so it is also a foreshadow of Jehovah’s new arrangement that Jehovah will give freedom to His people from slavery not just from people’s slavery but also from sin’s
slavery . Until people gain freedom from sin’s slavery they cannot get freedom from their problems since then they do not have help from their Creator Jehovah God.
During imperfect system Jehovah God ignored the weakness of the nations but now He wants every one to learn biblical truth and repent. Act. 17: 30
Under Jehovah’s arrangement not any faithful servant of Jehovah will be a slave, Jehovah God permitted the slavery in Israelite because of imperfect system and because of sin. In imperfect system life is very hard so people have to keep slaves or workers. But in God Jehovah’s sovereignty life will be easy as in the holy Bible is mentioned with little cattle people will get more then enough food and from little part of field people will grow more then enough food and they can fulfil they daily necessities easily. Because God Jehovah will bless His loyal and faithful people Isaiah. 7: 21- 25.
In Jehovah’s kingdom no need to keep slaves or be slaves as in the book of Philemon Jehovah God guided to Paul that Philemon was not to treat faithful Onesimus as slave but as his own beloved brother. Philemon.16
In the Israelite if any slave want to be his master’s slave forever then his master will pierce his ear
through with an awl on his door-post. This show that slave will be his master’s faithful and good listener under his good master’s care. Exodus. 21: 5 – 6 In the same way Jehovah God as our good Master wants for us to be His faithful and be good listeners. After sin Jehovah let the evil system for fix period so people can see sin’s consequences. But even in evil system Jehovah God showed kindness toward His faithful people. Like Abraham, Sarah, Jacob, Joseph, Marry, Job that people can know Jehovah is giving reward to them who are faithful. Especially through Jesus’ miracles showed that how wonderful will be Jehovah’s kingdom. During imperfect system people have seen very bad conditions on the earth like death, suffering pain, nature disasters, war, hate, poverty and slavery.When evil system will finish then Jehovah through Jesus will restore earthly conditions. Revelation 21: 3 – 5. Also Jehovah as A good Master will take care of His faithful people. During one thousand years under God Jehovah arrangement Jesus will make every thing perfect including humans
